IMPORTANT INFORMATION

FERRING CHRISTMAS EVENT AND LIGHT SWITCH-ON
6TH DECEMBER 2025.

This year, we are delighted that the Salvation Army, Terry Clough Choir, Ferring C of E School Choir and the Feel Good FlashMobbers will be taking part. The schedule of performances will be as follows:

4.45pm – The Feel Good FlashMobbers performance

5.00pm – Salvation Army and Terry Clough Choir perform

5.15pm – Light Switch-On & Blessing

5.20pm – Salvation Army, Terry Clough Choir and Ferring C of E School Choir perform

All timings are approximate.

 

For safety, Ferring Street will be closed to all vehicles from 4.30pm – 6.00pm

All outside Event arrangements are subject to weather conditions at the time of the event.

CLAPPERS LANE

Clappers Lane crossing update – Ferring: Public Footpath No. 2113 – Temporary Closure Notice (Issue no. 3949143)

Temporary Closure notice in respect of the above route, which will follow the existing closure which currently runs until 12th August 2025. The closure is necessary to protect public safety due to this crossing being unsafe due to continued mis-use. Network Rail have planned works to improve safety but these are not scheduled for completion until December 2025..

The route will now be closed until 12th February 2026 or until the works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
