I have been resident in Ferring since 2015 having spent many weekends and hours researching the area and choosing Ferring.

My background is in Public Health Nursing having qualified as a nurse in 1980 and I now teach nursing at university. I am passionate about the social wellbeing of people and that decisions and actions taken in Ferring aim to protect the health and wellbeing of the resident

I am a retired Project Manager IEng,FIET,DipMan(Open) with responsibilities for the design and development of electronic equipment in the Aviation and Oil Industries.

My wife and I were born in Kent and have lived in West Sussex with our 2 children for over 35 years, the last 16 years being in Ferring. I have been a Ferring Parish Councillor for 13 years and thoroughly enjoy the challenges of trying to maintain Ferring as a nice place to live. I have previously been a Special Constable in Kent and Littlehampton and also carried out volunteer tutoring at Littlehampton community school.

My wife and I are making the most of our retirement by travelling,  ballroom and sequence dancing.
