CLAPPERS LANE

Clappers Lane crossing update – Ferring: Public Footpath No. 2113 – Temporary Closure Notice (Issue no. 3949143)

Temporary Closure notice in respect of the above route, which will follow the existing closure which currently runs until 12th August 2025. The closure is necessary to protect public safety due to this crossing being unsafe due to continued mis-use. Network Rail have planned works to improve safety but these are not scheduled for completion until December 2025..

The route will now be closed until 12th February 2026 or until the works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The parish office is closed on Public Bank Holidays.
