CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS – Christmas comes to Ferring on Saturday 7th December 2019. The celebrations start with tree dressing on the village green during the morning.
The Christmas Market will open at 4.30pm in the Village Hall and Club Room and will remain open until 6.30pm, with lots of local crafts and charity stalls to browse, along with tea, coffee and cakes!
At 4.45pm we welcome back Sompting Tipteers perform Sussex Mumming Play who will be giving us a very special treat!
The Salvation Army will be playing carols from 5.15pm – do come and singalong with our choir- and the lights will be switched on at approximately 5.30pm.
All action takes place in front of the Village Green, and for safety reasons, the road in this area will be closed from 4.15pm – 6.15pm.
ROAD CLOSURE all vehicles is prohibited in Ferring Street (between the junctions of Rife Way and Onslow Drive), between the hours of 16:15 and 18:15 on Saturday 7th December 2019 for the Ferring Christmas Lights Celebration.
NOTICEBOARD AT PARISH OFFICE – The noticeboard at the side of the Parish Office in Elm Park has been removed for repair and refurbishment.
